The DCAHL has introduced a new APPLICATION PROCESS of registering teams into the DCAHL for our Winter and Summer seasons! This process is used in many recreational leagues across Ontario and after countless hours of research, DCAHL management has determined that this system will allow us to properly maintain a high-level of service and quality for our valued players on an on-going basis.

Due to the amount of teams looking for a spot in the DCAHL, and with only limited space, we have decided that it is in our best interest (for parity, competitive spirit, etc.) to ensure teams are a proper fit before accepting them into the DCAHL in the Winter/Summer season. The application will seek information regarding your past experiences in Adult Leagues as well as a place for you to list each member of your team! Players, like teams, can be approved and denied on an individual basis based upon our interpretation of how the participant parallels our DCAHL philosophy (seen at the bottom of the page) – so, a team can list 15 players, and only 13 will be approved. At that time, teams can make a decision on whether or not to move forward with registration (without the denied players) or seek other hockey league alternatives as a whole. Any players not listed on the application must be approved at any point during the season to play in the DCAHL!

Applications will be processed and "Approved" or "Denied" within 72 weekday hours.

2011 SUMMER SEASON DETAILS

Men's Sunday and Womens Teams Cost: $3600 per team (New DCAHL team); $3450 per team (Existing DCAHL team)
(all prices INCLUDE HST)

Men's Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Teams Cost: $3850 per team (New DCAHL team); $4000 per team (Existing DCAHL team)
(all prices INCLUDE HST)

Games: 14 regular season + 2 playoff games (Sun. and Mon.)
16 regular season + 2 playoff games (Tues., Wed., and Thurs.)

Registration Fee: $1000 deposit required at time of registration; balance of payment due before June 30th.

Start Date: MEN (April 17-21); WOMEN (April 18)
Earliest Start Time: MEN (6:45pm); WOMEN (6:45pm)
Latest Start Time: MEN (11:00pm), WOMEN (11:00pm)
Men's Sunday Times: Earliest (4:30pm), Latest (11:00pm)

Skill Levels: ALL Divisions are composed of similarly skilled teams with re-alignment during the season to ensure proper fit. For the first four weeks, I will typically schedule teams I know the caliber of versus the teams that are new to the DCAHL! After that four week period, I will adjust the divisions accordingly to ensure parity across the league is at its greatest and release the remainder of the schedule minus a week or two on the end (in case I kick teams out due to lack of funds/discipline, etc.).

Food & Beverage: Teams receive $25 food vouchers after every game for Prospects Bar & Grill, our bar/restaurant. For those vouchers that cannot be used due to early closing or an event on the Main Bowl, you can “double-up” on vouchers this season and use two in one sitting. *A new system may be introduced prior to the season*

Championship Tournament: All teams advance to our championship tournament in the middle of April where you get a chance to get your names engraved on DCAHL’s most coveted prize, the Molson Cup! Check it out at www.dcahl.com to see past winners!!
